What is HPNA/HPNF looking for in board candidates? 

The HPNA/HPNF Governance Committee strongly feels that our board should reflect our membership. The committee identifies needed representation and competencies annually. We encourage applications from candidates who are: 

• Passionate about leadership
• Interested in leadership development
• Providing direct hospice care
• Members of the Z generation (Born 1995 to 2006)
• Members of trans and gender nonbinary communities
• Members of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities

What is HPCC looking for in board candidates? 

The HPCC Governance Committee strongly feels that our board should reflect our certificant community.  The committee identifies needed representation and competencies annually. The committee encourages candidates who are passionate about leadership. We are encouraging applications who are:

• Individuals providing direct hospice care
• Members of the Millennial generation (Born 1980 to 1994)
• Members of trans and gender nonbinary communities
• Members of BIPOC communities
