What is HPNA/HPNF looking for in board candidates?
The HPNA/HPNF Governance Committee strongly feels that our board should reflect our membership. The committee identifies needed representation and competencies annually. We encourage applications from candidates who are:
- Passionate about leadership
- Interested in leadership development
- Providing direct hospice care
- Members of the Z generation (Born 1995 to 2006)
- Members of trans and gender nonbinary communities
- Members of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities
